Decision Engineering (DE) is a Small, Veteran-Owned Business Headquarted in Northern Virginia. We are a full service provider of Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support for Federal Government agencies in the National Capital Region. We address a range of activities that support operations and investments for government agencies. Decision Engineering is a knowledge-based service company continually seeking ways to apply new knowledge to satisfy client needs.
Our vision is to add value by applying the scientific method to address client problems and provide valuable solutions. The scientific method is a systematic acquisition of knowledge based on experimentation. We approach client problems by understanding the problem, formulating a hypothetical solution, designing an experimental approach for testing the solution, collecting data, and conducting an analysis.
