DE software & control GmbH shapes industry 5.0: People at the heart of digitalization

DE software & control GmbH, based in Dingolfing, is consistently focusing on combining technological innovation with user-friendliness under its new Chief Operating Officer, Andreas Tobisch. For nearly 30 years, the company has been developing customized software solutions for the industry, supporting its clients from consulting through to implementation—with a special focus on process optimization on the shop floor.

With the development of workstAItion 5.0, DE software & control GmbH is driving the transition to Industry 5.0. This workplace concept connects people and machines through intuitive, AI-powered technologies such as visualized work steps and voice-controlled processes, enabling rapid onboarding regardless of language or qualification.

As part of the DE group—which also includes optimization algorithm specialist DE computing (Stuttgart) and AI-focused company Erium (Munich)—around 100 employees work on pioneering solutions, from order management to AI-supported analysis of entire process chains. The company places particular emphasis on digitalizing administration and maintenance, enabling early error detection and preserving knowledge across generations.

The corporate culture is characterized by team spirit, transparency, and participation. In 2024, a middle management level was established from within the company’s own ranks to sustainably promote growth and innovation. Going forward, DE software & control GmbH will focus even more on cloud solutions, web-based licensing models, and its own customer events to present new products.
