On October 20 and 21, the 11th DE Anwendertag focused entirely on real-world application examples, ranging from AI on the shop floor to digital maintenance and manufacturing digitization, all the way to production planning and knowledge management. In addition to exciting presentations and live demos, there was plenty of opportunity for networking: During our evening get-together at the Dingolfing Kirta, it became clear once again that the best ideas often come over pretzels and beer. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended.
🟢 Day 1 – AI on the Shop Floor
After a speed-dating session to get to know each other, we teamed up with our technology partner Erium to demonstrate how DE-instruct automatically generates an illustrated, step-by-step work instruction from a smartphone video. Participants were able to try this out for themselves right away and create their very first set of instructions at the TZ PULS.Afterward, Rauch Möbelwerke provided insights into its furniture production with workstAItion 5.0, from real-time order transmission to over 35 assembly lines to feedback into the ERP system. Following a tour of the TZ PULS, we headed to the Dingolfinger Kirta for dinner.
🟢 Day 2 – Maintenance & 3D Production Planning
The second day focused on maintenance: Using DE-maintain, we demonstrated how maintenance processes, from planning to status updates, can be digitized and seamlessly integrated into the ERP system.
Using SILOKING Mayer Maschinenbau as an example, we then demonstrated how DE-3Dplacer was used to plan the hanging rack layout for their new powder coating line entirely digitally – from SAP all the way to the tablet on the shop floor. A joint closing discussion rounded out the day.
