Innovation Challenge & Smart Region Trade Show in Landau a. d. Isar

24 hours filled with ideas, team spirit, and perseverance: We fielded two teams at the Ecosystem Smart Lower Bavaria Innovation Challenge 2026 on October 8 and 9. One team, under the title “Smart Response,” developed approaches for AI-supported infrastructure management in the city of the future, while the other worked on “Lower Bavaria Copilot,” which aims to translate ideas into measurable impact. We are proud of both teams, who, with great motivation and a spirit of innovation, demonstrated what can be achieved together in a short amount of time.

At the same time, we were represented at the Smart Region Trade Show , where we demonstrated how AI is being applied in practice. Our DE-instruct platform generated a great deal of interest. Students from Landau Middle School had the opportunity to try it out for themselves at our booth: They were tasked with assembling a flashlight – using DE-instruct and without it. It quickly became clear which approach made the task easier.

DE-instruct is an AI-powered platform for modern knowledge management and digital work instructions. Based on the principle of “filming instead of typing,” employees record workflows with their smartphones, and the AI generates illustrated step-by-step instructions from the footage in seconds. These can be customized in the editor, refined as a team, and exported as PDFs. As a central knowledge hub, DE-instruct brings together videos, documents, and instructions in one place. In this way, DE-instruct preserves operational know-how, shortens training times, and reduces error rates – in manufacturing, skilled trades, logistics, and services.
